Celebrating Our Communities
Why block parties?
Altoona is a great place to be. We have thriving neighborhoods with diverse people where talented and kind folks call this mountain town home. Each neighborhood has their own rhythm and identity - and we should celebrate who we were, who we are, and who we aspire to be. Block parties bring the soul of the neighborhood to the forefront. Your neighbor a few doors down might be your new friend in the making. We're here to connect people to the parks in their micro-community and help them enjoy everything that is already here, a few steps from home. Meaningful collaboration brings everyone together, and together is the best place to be.
